John Dickson and Son Fly rod
This rod I mention purely out of interest. This rod was my Dads purchased in 1980 ( I bought it for him as a Christmas Present).It was hardly used really maybe a couple of dozen times, I used to borrow it as a youth when I could as it went with a nice Hardy LRH reel and floating line.It was about £100 way back then so not cheap. Stirling Angling Centre reckon its built on a Hardy or Grey’s blank.

Snowbee Prestige 9ft #6 travel rod
I travel a lot in my work and this year I want to be able to stuff a rod and reel and a few odds and sods in my bag so I might be able to get an odd nights fishing while I am away. I have been looking for a travel rod for a while and the cheaper ones did not impress me as they were all quite heavy weights and the dearer ones were, well, dear!
