The first in my series of two minute tips, this is a YouTube feature but you can access it here on The Unfamous Fly.

Over time I hope it builds into a reasonable number of short easy to watch videos that may be useful to everyone from the beginner through to the more experienced angler). Some will be things the more experienced already know others may be things you never thought of. I learn things all the time when fishing, I expect others are the same.

This one is very pertinent to the current season, where anglers are using heavy bugs tied on Jig Hooks to catch Grayling. Jig Hooks are manufactured with an offset eye to allow a slotted bead to sit on them for a reason. This video discusses what that reason is, and how to get your bugs fishing the right way up
