It’s birthday fishing day. I always take the day off and go fishing. If I can at all my preference is river fishing for the Grayling but I will settle for some stockie bashing if not. Usually I try to head to somewhere I have not been if it’s fishing a river, whether a beat I don’t know or river I have never visited.

Radek stated in competition terms I won on place points with the biggest Grayling. As ever it wasn’t about points it was about being out in the fresh air in good company with challenging fishing. It was also good to be back on the Tummel a river I have missed having not fished it in a while.
