It was very dreich and dismal looking once I got above Dunblane on the way up there and was wondering if I was doing the right thing! However it was not too busy when I arrived and though there were plenty anglers about there was plenty space to slot in.

After the disappointment of the river conditions on Saturday I was keen to head out for a couple of hours in the relatively bright weather of Sunday, albeit a little blustery at times.
