Sticks and Stones Won’t Break Me
The conditions were really not too bad, the river had a good amount of water so the long glide along Winchester Avenue was a fairly even 2 feet or so deep with a pretty brisk pace. The wading was pretty easy though it did get “challenging” as you moved upstream towards the faster water.

Rivers last
So the end of the season beckons. I had a day off Friday and took the opportunity to head out onto the River Carron for what will likely be my last river session of the 2016 season. It wasn’t an especially bright or warm day but for early Autumn it certainly could be and soon enough will be, worse.
