I have fished Lake of Menteith for many years, pretty much every year since I returned to fishing, I have been there a couple of times a season at least, and sometimes more.
It’s a place I seem to struggle at, though it isn’t always for the want of hooking fish. That I can do ( usually), getting them to the net can be an altogether different thing though.

Cocksburn Reservoir is a small, now disused for water supply, reservoir at the back of Bridge of Allan. While its formal name is Cocksburn Reservoir most locals refer to it as Pendreich which is the name of the surrounding Foresty Commission woodland.
