Swanswater Sunday
Been out a couple of times this (long) weekend. On Sunday afternoon I discovered my other half was heading out for a Disco Roller Skate session ( don’t ask!) with some of her work colleagues, so that meant I was at liberty to do as I pleased! ( to be fair I usually am but we all need an excuse). I have not been along to Swanny for a few weeks so as it was a moderately breezy afternoon ( at this point) I went along, thinking it might be mobbed. Though the wee ponds were pretty busy, not sue if the Cygnets kids club were in, the main loch was not busy at all with plenty space.
I opted for the top end of the main basin near the boat moorings and started there with a fly I don’t use a lot, a Daddy Longlegs, as there are tons of them round here just now. When I open the front door in the morning 3 or 4 tumble into the house! Seriously!
