I was browsing the Orvis TGIF video blog today and came across this video by a guy called Luke Bannister who has the site http://www.splitcane.co.uk. Fundamentally it seems, he is a rod builder of custom made split cane rods and this video and a number of others on Vimeo (do a search on his name) are subtle ads for his wares.

Its almost time to forget evenings by some river or loch and content myself with the grabbed opportunities of winter fishing some of the Rainbow fisheries in the area, and getting out after the Ladies of the Stream- the Grayling.
