The conditions were really not too bad, the river had a good amount of water so the long glide along Winchester Avenue was a fairly even 2 feet or so deep with a pretty brisk pace. The wading was pretty easy though it did get “challenging” as you moved upstream towards the faster water.

This weekend it was my wife’s birthday and planning ahead some time ago, I had booked a couple of cheap flights to Milan, Italy for a weekend city break.
