Fulling Mill Fluorocarbon is in my opinion a fairly reliable line which I have to say I have had no major problems with. It is cheap and pretty good value compared to most fluorocarbons. The only issues I have with it are that its fairly stiff, and its relatively high diameter for each breaking strain compared to the more exotic lines.

Read MoreThis is a new product from Hanak (2013) and was apparently used very successfully by the Cz team in recent World Championships. Unlike a Hends French Leader (which I have and use up to now) which has a butt to tip taper this French Leader ( Hanak refer to it as a Cz Leader) has a more level body with a short taper at the point. The result is a leader which you can in effect “shoot” with a suitable rod, like my Hanak 4 in 1 Czech Nymph Champion #3.

I was finally convinced to get myself a “proper” Czech Nymphing rod and plumped for the new version of the Hanak 4 in 1 Czech Nymphing rod from Unique Flies . I have to say I preferred the finish on the “original” Hanak rods, with the “stealth” matt black finish, but apparently, they have stopped doing them like this and their rods are now a glossy green.
