It’s birthday fishing day. I always take the day off and go fishing. If I can at all my preference is river fishing for the Grayling but I will settle for some stockie bashing if not. Finding the Fish

When I told John I had caught, he demanded pictures of proof or it hadn’t happened. Alas I couldn’t comply though I did offer him a sniff at my hand as proof it had held a Grayling. For some reason he declined.

Maybe not for the Purist

I probably managed to fish about 5 metres of the river with my two small but heavy red tagged bugs, one green the other black, and a pink shrimp on top dropper, when there was a knock and I was in to the first fish of this Autumn/winter Grayling season.
