I was supposed to be off to Wales for a couple of weeks holiday this weekend coming but events conspiring against me mean that at best I can’t now get away until the first Thursday into what was supposed to be a fortnight’s break. We are to be based around Llangollen and while its not a fishing holiday I had hoped to get out on the river a couple of times while I was away. It seems like a distant dream at present, but I have been tying a few flies for the faint hope I make it.
