The plan hatching in my head Sunday morning was to get out fairly sharp after walking the dog and go somewhere different. However I then realised I had a few other tasks to get round and ended up cutting steel, up to my elbows in manky drain water, and jet washing a roof!

August and the fishing is well tricky

I’ve been out three times this past week to Pendreich when the weather has been up to it. On Monday night it looked quite grim but though a bit dark was actually amazingly still, too still for trout fishing you might argue. The photographer might have got more “snatch” than he envisaged- if you get my drift.
