More luck hunting frogs
As I was having a chill on the bank I caught some movement out the corner of my eye and a pair of BIG frogs swam by, one on the others back. I am no particular expert in Amphibian behaviour but imagine this is the foreplay part of more serious goings on…. I think the wee guy is that, the wee “guy” and the big one is the female.

Sticks and Stones Won’t Break Me
The conditions were really not too bad, the river had a good amount of water so the long glide along Winchester Avenue was a fairly even 2 feet or so deep with a pretty brisk pace. The wading was pretty easy though it did get “challenging” as you moved upstream towards the faster water.

Three in five F Fly
The odd fish was rising but what was apparent from the second I got out the car was the amount of sedge around. I tied on a wee F Fly (only because it was the first sedge like pattern that came to hand out the box).
